1. Position the seven small magnets on the side wall, base wall, and the back of the frame. Secure them in place with super glue. Place one magnet on the back of the frame, and place one magnet on either the side wall or the base wall (depending on your preferred setup). For the arm that holds the sunglasses, place two magnets on the back for improved stability.
Important: Before gluing the magnets in place, make sure the outer faces are oriented the same way (all positive or all negative). Don’t mix orientations—otherwise one magnet will repel while the other attracts. You want both magnets pulling the support arm into the frame for a secure hold. Pro tip: Sand away the paint in the areas where you’ll glue the magnets.
The magnets are black to match the most common frame color.
2. The iron arms are thin, allowing you to bend them into custom “item holders.” Before bending, measure the thickness of your frame (including the magnets) so the arms curve correctly around the frame and hold the piece securely.
Tip: When bending the arms, it helps to use a hard, sharp 90-degree edge (for example, the corner of a table). This keeps the bends straighter and tighter.
You can choose the setup style you prefer: (Examples) Holder, Balanced, or Platform—where the sunglass case works as a miniature counter, to place your keys etc...
One of the arms includes a notch. This notch is designed so you can hang your sunglasses by the temple hinge.
3. Thin& small magnets are used to hold the cleaning cloth. The story of the edition is printed on the back of the cloth, so it works like a museum-style wall label—the small text placed beside artworks.
If you have chosen the Holder or Platform setup, you only need two thin magnets to attach the cleaning cloth between the iron support arms and thin magnets. Make sure the support arms are spaced at the correct distance so the cloth sits neatly and stays taut.
If you have chosen the Balanced setup, glue two thin magnets to the center of the bottom frame. You can then attach the cleaning cloth using the other two thin magnets.
