Shipping & Returns

Ovan editions are dispatched from Finland. This page explains delivery times, international charges, cancellations, returns and what to do if an order arrives damaged or incorrect.

Shipping and Delivery
 
Processing orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days.
We will contact you if the dispatch of your order is expected to be materially delayed.
 
Estimated Delivery After Dispatch
Finland: 3–5 business days
Europe, United Kingdom and Switzerland: 5–10 business days
North America: 5–7 business days
Asia, China, Oceania and South America: 7–10 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the destination, local customs processing, carrier delays and public holidays.
Available destinations, delivery methods and final shipping costs are shown at checkout before payment. Free shipping is applied automatically to eligible orders over €300.
 
Tracking
When tracking is available for the selected delivery method, you will receive a tracking link by email after the order has been dispatched.
Please allow some time for the carrier to activate the tracking information.
 
Customs and Import Charges
Deliveries within the EU are not normally subject to customs duties.
Orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to import taxes, customs duties or carrier handling fees imposed by the destination country. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the recipient’s responsibility.
Ovan cannot determine or collect destination-specific import charges unless they are expressly included at checkout.
 
Delivery Address
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing the order.
If a shipment is returned because the address provided at checkout was incorrect or incomplete, we may charge the actual cost of reshipping the order.
 
Cancellations and Returns

You have the right to cancel your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

To withdraw from your purchase, use our online cancellation function or contact us at info@ovaneyewear.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel the order.

The returned edition must be sent back within 14 days of submitting the cancellation notice.

Please return the eyewear complete with all edition components and carefully packed. This may include the packaging, certificate, care cloth, display components, signed material and other items listed on the relevant product page.

You may inspect the product in the same way you would in a physical store. A reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product may be deducted from the refund.

Unless otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the order.

Include your name and order number inside the return package. We recommend using a tracked return method and retaining the shipping receipt until the return has been processed.

Refunds

If the purchase is cancelled, we will refund:

  • the price paid for the returned product

  • the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option

Additional costs resulting from an upgraded or express delivery method are not refundable.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the cancellation notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back.

Refunds will not be issued as store credit unless you have expressly agreed to it.

Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Orders

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or otherwise defective, contact us promptly at info@ovaneyewear.com.

Include:

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • clear photographs of the product and packaging where relevant

Ovan is responsible for product defects in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

Defects are primarily remedied by repair or replacement, unless the requested remedy is impossible or would cause disproportionate costs. If neither remedy is available, another appropriate remedy will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

 

Because Ovan editions are micro-produced, an identical replacement may not always be available. 

Do not return a damaged, incorrect or defective order before receiving return instructions from Ovan.

Unclaimed Shipments

Failing to collect a shipment does not by itself constitute a cancellation.

Contact us if you wish to cancel an unclaimed order. We may deduct the actual and direct shipping, return and handling costs caused by an unclaimed shipment where permitted by applicable law.
